About us · Environmental

Environmental.

Occupying the city for 67 years creates an obligation towards it. Our answer is not a report: it is squares delivered, living panels and vinyl that comes back as a product. Outdoor media that gives back, in practice, to the space it occupies.

What is already real

We are not talking about environmental intentions. We are talking about structures delivered, with an address, maintenance on us and daily public use. Every project below is an outdoor media asset the city uses even when it is not looking at the brand.

Regenerativo · Mobility

Electric Charging Square

Alameda Augusto Stellfeld, 445. The first square in Southern Brazil dedicated to clean mobility, powered by solar energy. More than a charging point: modern, accessible infrastructure that people use every day, in a city that moves more and more on electricity.

For the sponsoring brand, it is presence tied to a real service. This is not media that interrupts, it is media that solves.

Awarded Gold in the Sustainable Projects category of the Prêmio Central de Outdoor 2025.

Batel Convenience Square
Regenerativo · City

Batel Convenience Square

Bento Viana with Sete de Setembro. Planned infrastructure and welcoming design in one of the busiest neighbourhoods in Curitiba. Leisure, wellbeing and community in a safe space that lifted the value of the whole corner.

It is advertising on street furniture in the best possible format: the brand appears where people choose to stay, not where they merely pass by. Permanence, not passing impact.

Vertical Garden
Green · Landscape

Vertical Garden

Rua Bispo Dom José, 2866. A Poster Sight that became a living element of the landscape, with irrigation, pruning and plant replacement handled by us.

In the fast pace of the city, it stops the eye by being different. The advertised brand carries with it what the structure communicates: sustainability, wellbeing and care for urban space. Branding with purpose on an outdoor media support.

They are all part of the Regenerative Media portfolio, which also includes the MUB Garden, the first digital street furniture in Curitiba with a living garden, the Jardim Digital and the other pet squares in the city.

The life cycle of the vinyl

The vinyl comes off the face and comes back as a product.

Every printed campaign ends with vinyl taken down. The industry’s default destination is landfill. Ours is not.

Outdoormídia donates, at no cost, the advertising vinyl that has completed its display cycle. Trained seamstresses turn the material into tote bags and other products, generating income and taking waste out of circulation. A circular economy with a verifiable process, not a purchased seal.

The initiative is part of the Corajosamente Éticos programme, and all the proceeds go to a partner social project.

Recycled Bench

Benches made from recycled advertising vinyl installed in a square, with an Outdoormídia sign

Urban furniture usually arrives in the city as a public expense. Ours arrives as a destination for material.

The benches Outdoormídia installs in squares and sidewalks are made from recycled advertising vinyl, in partnership with Eco Local Recicla. Each unit gives a new purpose to materials that would otherwise be discarded and returns a structure for public use to the city, maintained at our own expense.

Donation of electronic waste to Instituto Kópher

Instituto Kópher logo
Instituto Kópher donation certificate

We donated obsolete electronic equipment to Instituto Kópher, a non-profit organisation that has spent nine years promoting community wellbeing, combining environmental responsibility with social inclusion.

The donation directly supports the Programa Resgate, the institute’s pioneering initiative for the reverse manufacturing of electronic waste. The project trains people in vulnerable situations, especially in therapeutic communities, contributing to their reintegration into family and working life.

How the operation reduces impact

A lit panel consumes energy and a printed face generates waste. Those are two bills outdoor media pays every month, and which our operation treats as a technical decision, not as talk.

Conversion to LED lighting

Printed faces with lighting converted to LED. Less consumption per site, the same legibility at night.

Energy in the iconic projects

Projects such as Batel Square and the Electric Charging Square run on clean energy. The technology comes in with the structure, not as a later retrofit.

What happens to the vinyl

Vinyl taken down from the faces is sent for reuse rather than landfill, through the donation programme that turns it into products.

Street furniture in return

Every square where we operate receives street furniture installed and maintained by us. Gardens, benches, community structures and service points. What we take from the city, we give back in public use.
